This sounds like A LOT of Margaritas – do I have to finish?

No. This event includes the opportunity to enjoy margaritas responsibly.  If you can’t finish, don’t; there is no prize for doing so. It’s very important to only drink responsibly. Treat it like a tasting for an optimal experience. The point is to visit as many of the venues as possible and have a blast with your friends, not to finish each and every margarita.

Is it difficult to finish?

You’ll have an easier time hiking from Guadalajara to Mexico City, or so we’ve been told.

Why participate if I might not be able to finish?

This is a traditional that’s been around for over a decade. You’ll have a ton of fun, whether or not you finish.

When is the event?

There are Margarita March® events all over the world. See the CITIES page to see dates. Please see the times listed on your City’s event page, and refer to your tickets for registration hours, starting times, and ending times. Saturday tickets can only be used on Saturday.  Sunday tickets can only be used on Sunday.

What if I can’t make it during registration hours to pick up my pass?

Check-in hours are strictly enforced. If you haven’t picked up your pass by then, you will forfeit it. Please plan accordingly. We VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND arriving on the earlier side of your registration window.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No. All tickets are sold through our Ticketing Agent online.

Can my friend pick up my pass for me?

No. All passes must be picked up by each participant, individually. You must have a valid, government-issued ID. All participants must be 21 or over.

What do I get for signing up?

See your City-specific page for your offering. Typically, a Margarita March includes the following in your ticket:
– eight tasty margaritas
– all-access pass
– Specials on beer, food and margaritas
– no cover charge at ANY venue
– event pictures
– entertainment and music along the way
– donation to charity

How does the event work?

When you check in, you will receive an all-access VIP laminated badge. It will have the names of the participating venues printed on it. The bartenders at each venue will have hole punchers and will give you a (friendly!) punch on your badge when they serve you their margarita. After check in, you may proceed in any order and at any pace that you choose.

Please be kind to your bartenders and servers, who work hard to provide you with a great time!

We strongly encourage use of public transportation, taxi and ride sharing services. Do not drink and drive. Please enjoy responsibly.
